Photograph defects on arrival, test indoors before first trip, and keep original packaging until you confirm fit and stability.

Store dry and unfolded or lightly latched in a climate-controlled space; avoid stacking heavy gear on tripod frames.

Bent legs, cracked welds, or fabric tears near stress points mean retire the stool—capacity ratings no longer apply.

Brush dry mud first, then spot-clean with mild soap; air-dry fully before folding to prevent mildew smell.

Silicone lubricant on metal joints—not oil on fabric—usually quiets squeaks without attracting dirt.

Add foot discs, flip rubber caps flat side down, or place a rigid board under all three legs evenly.
